Clonmany & Moville National Schools

These schools are Generic Repeat Design Schools which have been designed by the Department of Education & Science.

Our role as Architects was to advise on the layout of the new school on site and supervise the construction of same. This included presenting options appraisals to the schools’ Board of Management to make the best use of the site, meetings with Planners, Roads Service, Sanitary Services, Fire Officer. We advised on the phasing and decanting arrangements, selection of contractors and full tender action.

The schools have been designed for easy future expansion, to maximise orientation to ensure morning sun to classrooms and playgrounds.
